Add LEMON RIND?!

So, I have obviously been a huge green smoothie fan for quite some time now, but lately, I have added a new ingredient that not only has incredible health benefits, but it adds amazing flavor to my smoothie recipes.

LEMON RIND!

I literally have a lemon or two in my freezer at all times that I use to grate into my blender as I make my family and I our daily smoothies.

Everyone is a HUGE fan!

As Adam says, the smoothies have been “deeeWISHous”! (In his adorable 3-year-old voice) ☺️

I usually make our smoothie at night because the boys like it as a bedtime snack and Marc and I have ours the next morning.

I, at times, will alternate and have mine with my lunch salad. It depends what I have for breakfast and lunch that day 🤷🏻‍♀️

TONIGHT’S SMOOTHIE:

Spinach

Carrots

Strawberries

Blueberries

Chia seeds

Banana

Clementine

1/2 of an avocado

Water

….and GRATED LEMON RIND! 🍋

A “sweetener” hint: the more ripe the banana, the sweeter your smoothie will be! I like mine SUPER ripe 👌🏻
